Barbara Sackman’s (NY) path to the Pantheon recognition was unique. Even though she and husband Alan hunted a lot together, it would have been literally impossible for them to have made all of these accomplishments the same way and at the same time. The Grand Slam for Barbara was #707 and completed first in 1996. Barbara was recognized in 2006 for the SCI World Conservation & Hunting award. Barbara completed her Super Slam in 2012 as the next milestone on her path. It was just over 30 years between Barbara’s Ovis World Slam and her eventual Super 30 in 2017. It was more than 16 years between her Capra World Slam and Capra 30 in 2017.
