The Grand Slam of North American Wild Sheep has been around since Grancel Fitz coined the phrase in 1949. Not quite a decade later, the Grand Slam Club was founded by Bob Housholder in 1956. Considering these dates of yesteryear, one would think this lifetime achievement would have lost some of its luster. However the Grand Slam is as important today as it was so many years ago. Every single documented Grand Slam has been important, and each year we are so pleased to honor many men and women who have documented their Grand Slams with GSCO. While many may continue their pursuit of mountain game after completing their Grand Slam, for many this prestigious milestone represents a lifetime achievement and the pinnacle of their hunting careers.
