To qualify for the Rex Baker Super 40 of North American Big Game,TM you must have completed the Super Slam of North American Big Game® and legally taken free-range a minimum of 40 of the listed species listed below. For the Rex Baker Super 40, there are 46 species/subspecies, and it includes all the animals needed for the Super Slam. Whereas the Super Slam list consolidates the Arctic Island caribou and the Central Canada barren ground caribou, the Rex Baker Super 40 does not; the Rocky Mountain and desert mule deer; the Western and Eastern Canada moose; the grizzly bear and the barren ground grizzly bear; the barren ground muskox and Greenland muskox—the Rex Baker Super 40 lists each subspecies separately. A member needs only one of the two of that particular category.
To achieve the Rex Baker Super 50, one must complete the Rex Baker Super 40 and take any additional species on this list. Eight additional species have been added that count ONLY towards the Rex Baker Super 50 list: Anticosti Whitetail, Bobcat, Coastal Islands Black Bear, Columbia Whitetail, Greenland Caribou, Mexican Whitetail, and two additional Desert Bighorn Sheep (excluding the Cremnobates). ONLY ONE desert sheep counts towards the Rex Baker Super 40; Two additional desert sheep may be counted towards the Rex Baker Super 50 (excluding the Cremnobates). The Greenland Caribou is specific only to the Rex Baker Super 50. If you submitted your Caribou (Greenland) as a CBGC, you would need to hunt a CBGC outside of Greenland in order to have one from each location for the Rex Baker Super 50.
