The Grand Slam Club/Ovis Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rex Baker to the GSCO Board of Directors.  Mr. Baker will be filling the position previously held by Dr. Bruce Tatarchuk, whose service and contributions to the organization are sincerely appreciated.

This appointment comes as a result of GSCO’s recently adopted term limit policy, approved through a formal amendment to the GSCO By-Laws.  This policy was established to encourage new perspectives, strengthen long-term governance, and create new opportunities for members to serve and become more actively involved in the future of GSCO.

Mr. Baker has graciously accepted this appointment and brings with him 49 years of sheep hunting experience, along with a lifetime of dedication to mountain hunting and conservation. Upon accepting the position, Mr. Baker shared the following:

“I hope my 49 years of hunting sheep can be of benefit to GSCO.”

We are confident that Rex’s depth of experience, passion for hunting, and long-standing commitment to the hunting community will be an asset to GSCO as we continue to evolve and strengthen the organization.
