Mark Wayne Smith of Alaska applied for an Alaska bison permit for 20 years before finally getting drawn for the 2017 season. Mark filmed his hunt and granted us permission to use some of the footage to share with the GSCO family in this blog entry. You will see from the video that Mark arrowed his bison with a recurve bow at 76 yards within the first hour and ten minutes of his 10-day hunt! Mark’s bull scored 63 3/8 SCI and took home the Platinum Award at the 2018 convention for the archery bison category. Congratulations on a fine bull, Mark
