GSCO Life Membership represents a permanent commitment to the future of Grand Slam Club/Ovis and serves as one of the cornerstones of the organization’s long-term strength and sustainability. Unlike annual membership, Life Membership is a one-time investment that establishes a lasting connection with GSCO while helping ensure the organization’s continued success for future generations of hunters, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Life Membership is structured as an endowment-based program, with proceeds strategically utilized to strengthen and grow the organization over time. These funds support membership development, promotion of GSCO milestones and achievement programs, conservation awareness initiatives, youth and educational outreach efforts, organizational growth, and the continued enhancement of member services and benefits. The objective is to create a stable financial foundation that allows GSCO to pursue its mission while remaining focused on serving its membership and supporting wildlife conservation worldwide.

Life Members enjoy all benefits of General Membership while receiving permanent recognition as individuals who have made a lasting commitment to the future of the organization. Their support helps preserve GSCO’s heritage, expand its impact, and ensure that future generations will have the opportunity to participate in the traditions, milestones, conservation efforts, and experiences that define Grand Slam Club/Ovis.

Today, more than half of GSCO’s membership consists of Life Members, reflecting the confidence, loyalty, and commitment that our members have placed in the organization and its future. Their collective support has played a significant role in the growth and success of GSCO and continues to provide the foundation upon which the organization builds for tomorrow.

The GSCO Pinnacle Membership represents the highest tier within GSCO’s core membership structure and reflects a long-term commitment to the future of both the organization and GSCOnservation.

Pinnacle Members represent the “tip of the spear” for GSCOnservation and GSCO’s expanding role in boots-on-the-ground conservation initiatives worldwide. While the Pinnacle Endowment is also structured around long-term sustainability, its primary purpose is specifically tied to ensuring the continued strength, credibility, and operational stability of GSCOnservation.

The intent of the Pinnacle Fund is simple:
To help ensure that 100% of funds raised for conservation projects can be directed toward conservation initiatives themselves. Residual earnings generated from the Pinnacle Fund are utilized to strengthen and grow the fund itself while also assisting with the external operational requirements necessary to successfully administer meaningful conservation efforts. This structure allows GSCOnservation initiatives and donor-raised conservation dollars to remain focused on conservation projects themselves, rather than administrative burden.

GSCO Pinnacle Members contribute with the understanding that their support is helping establish a sustainable framework for conservation efforts well into the future. Their commitment helps ensure that GSCOnservation can continue operating responsibly, effectively, and independently while maintaining the integrity and confidence expected by GSCO membership and conservation partners alike.

Pinnacle Membership is more than a membership level. It is a commitment to the long-term future of wildlife conservation and to ensuring that GSCOnservation remains sustainable, impactful, and positioned to grow for generations to come. 

Eligibility
Pinnacle Membership is available exclusively to GSCO Life Members in good standing through an additional contribution to the Pinnacle Fund.

Tax Information
The Pinnacle Fund is intended to support GSCO’s charitable and conservation mission through the long-term sustainability of GSCOnservation. No additional material goods, services, privileges, or membership benefits are provided in exchange for a Pinnacle Membership contribution beyond recognition associated with participation in the program.

GSCO will provide written acknowledgment of Pinnacle Membership contributions for tax reporting purposes. Because no substantial goods or services are provided in exchange for the contribution, the full amount of the Pinnacle Membership upgrade is intended to qualify as a charitable contribution as permitted by applicable law.

Note: Canadian GSCO Life Members may make their Pinnacle Membership contribution directly through GSCO Canada and will receive the appropriate Canadian charitable tax documentation.
